Inside a Level 2 ESL Class

In our ESL classes, students learn about family members and how to describe each of them.  Last week,  at one of our ESL classes at Fair Haven United Methodist Church, students learned about everyone’s family members. Cathy, our level 2 teacher, asked her students to bring pictures of their families. The students were thrilled to show off their families and were able to really put their growing English skills to use. Students practiced asking questions and described their loved ones, while also sharing their unique family stories with the class. This activity brought students together as they now know much more about each other. It is one of the many things that has created a special bond between our students.
