Goodbye Denny!

A Great Teacher Retires...Again!
MAM's Education Program says goodbye to an experienced instructor.

Denny Brown, MAM Volunteer, kindly assists an English as a Second Language student during his Level 2 class this fall.

Buena Suerte! Chúc may mắn! 好运! удачи! GOOD LUCK!

Denny Brown has been an outstanding ESL teacher for the past 2 years, teaching intermediate students in Level 2.  As a seasoned professor, he stepped into ESL with no problem and has helped so many of our students become more fluent in English. He explains that he has enjoyed teaching at MAM because the students are, "sharp, hard workers that really want to be here". There is no doubt that students want to learn at MAM, but it is because of great volunteers like Denny that they stay. Thank you for your willingness to serve our community and touch so many lives. We have been honored to have you at MAM. Enjoy your second retirement!

Are you or someone you know interested in teaching people English?
We have multiple openings for instructors, assistants, and tutors this Spring ...including Denny's old job! Please contact Angel Elza, Volunteer Coordinator 713-574-7540 aelza@maministries.org or visit MAM's Education Blog at http://learnatmam.blogspot.com/ for more information.
